Kindly specifcy ustomer’s current status, is it needing a new ink chamber, or it has one open ink chamber, and want to replace the closed ink chamber with that open ink chamber, how many quantities needed, it the photo/video of current flexo machine ink chamber available, what is size of anilox roller, etc.

In China, my engineer can go visit customer, measure all data on the site, make fabrication and if there is some adjustment needed, we can solve it immediately.

For overseas customers, the communication and problem solving are very limited and it may needs customers to have problem solving ability themselves.

How to choose the cell line number

Generally, if the ink absorption is large, choose the one with a low number of texture lines; if the ink absorption is small, choose a texture with a high number of cell lines

Precautions:

The ink proofing instrument (manual color development wheel) is a precision instrument, and special attention should be paid to protecting the rubber roller and metal anilox roller , and do not touch hard objects. Pay attention to cleaning after use. If it is not used for a long time , apply anti- rust oil on the surface of the anilox roller to prevent it from rusting.

Instructions for use of 400X anilox cell inspection microscope

The microscope has a built-in low-power optical illumination system. Reasonable Structure, compact appearance, can be used to measure engraved metal, ceramics anilox roll with built-in optical measuring scale, minimum resolution up to 0.005mm/grid, equipped with a rechargeable high-energy power supply, and environmentally friendly nickel Hydrogen battery.

Operation Instructions

Place the microscope on the engraved surface to be tested, turn on the power of the microscope, adjust the lifting system, and observe from the eyepiece until the cell is clearly imaged and the reticle of the eyepiece is cleared observed, then it is ready for measurement and can observe the degree of cleanliness and physical condition inside the cell. (This microscope has non-metallic materials in the contact with the anilox roller, which can prevent the anilox surface from being scratched)

Depth calculation method:

1. Now adjust the microscope to the clearest image at the bottom of the anilox cell, put the digital display dial gauge at 0 by hand, and rotate the display; adjust the micro-mirror, adjust the microscope to the clearest image at the top of the reticulate pores. At this time, the reading of the window of the digital display dial gauge is the depth of the anilox cell
2. Repeat the above actions, observe 3 times, and take the average values to measure the depth of the cell. If you need to measure the mesh size of the entire anilox roll, you can use different sections of the anilox roll, repeat the above actions to calculate the average cell depth of the whole anilox roll.
3. If you feel that the light energy is insufficient, you can insert the charger into the charging hole of the microscope to charge, and the charging time is about 6 hours. Then it can be connected and continue to use for about 2 days.

How to use electronic digital dial indicator

1. What is it?

It is one or several shiny, narrow lines on the circumeferial surface of anilox, indication of localized wear ( scoring) or deposits of foreign materials in the engraved cells.

2. How did it happen?
   (1) Doctor blade damaged;
   (2) Alien materials in the ink;
   (3) Incomplete cleaning of anilox roll after using;
   (4) Wrong matching of doctor blade and anilox roll
3. How to prevent it?
   (1) Magnets to trap metal element in the ink fountain and does not spread the ink alien materials to the doctor blade and further to the anilox;
   (2) Addition of filters in the closed-loop ink system with pump to trap foreign materials of any type;
   (3) Use geniune and good working doctor blades;
   (4) Proper clean of the anilox surface every time the printing is completed; use magnifer 100X or more to check the surface from time to time; use anilox brush, designated agent to clean the surface or ultrosonic sink to clean it; nowadays some also provide laser clean;

The basis philopsophy of anilox roll is using the cell to contain ink and transfer ink to the printing plate. You need to make the ink, cell, and transfer process as clean as possible to avoid the scoring line through joint efforts of operator, cleaning equipment, ink supplier, doctor chamber system.
